With Chris Paul joining the Los Angeles Clippers, it has just made the Clippers to be one of the contender in this year coming playoffs.
The Los Angeles Clippers showed that they finally own the spotlight and name over former champion, Los Angeles Lakers. They defeated the Los Angeles Lakers two-straight-games in the pre-season games, and they made it look easy with the help of shot-blocker Deandre Jordan, high-flyer Blake Griffin, and superstar point guard Chris Paul.
In their 1st pre-season matchup, the Clippers defeated the Lakers 114 - 95. On their 2nd match-up, the Clippers grabbed the win again over the Lakers with the score of 108 - 103.
Blake Griffin scored 30 points, both Mo Williams and Caron Butler with 16 points, Chris Paul with 10 assists and Deandre Jordan tightened the defence with 3 monster blocks.
Kobe Bryant was a no-show for the Lakers as he injured his fingers during a collision with Clippers center, Deandre Jordan in the 1st game.
