| Brandon Roy celebrating the win of Portland Trail Blazers |
At only 27 years old, Portland Trail Blazers former guard star Brandon Roy announced that he would retire due to cartilage damage on his knees that had haunted him for the past few years.
Brandon was selected 6th overall in the 1st round by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2006, but was traded to Portland Trail Blazers on a deal during the draft.
Brandon only played 5 seasons in the NBA ( 2006 - 2011 ).
He was named Rookie of the Year in 2006.
He was a selected 3 times as a NBA All-Star ( 2008 - 2010 ).
Re-live the moments of Brandon Roy during his 5 years in the NBA. It is definitely a loss to Portland itself, and NBA for losing an exciting player in the league. 96HWGUNM2ZR9 96HWGUNM2ZR9
