For those who do not know Jeremy Lin, he is the 1st Asian American player of Taiwanese descent in the NBA. He was a star player in Harvard University, but was undrafted in the 2010 NBA Draft. However, his hometown team, the Golden State Warriors signed him to a partially-guaranteed deal.
After appearing only 29 games with the Warriors last year, he was waived from the team. On December 9th 2011, he was waived by the Warriors on the 1st day of training camp in order to sign free agent Deandre Jordan, but deal was off as Jordan stayed with the Clippers.
After a few days later, the Houston Rockets was interested in him, and they claimed him off waivers on December 12, 2011. On December 24 2011, Lin was being waived again by the Rockets so they could sign center Samuel Dalembert.

On December 27th 2011, Lin received a good news indicating that New York Knicks is going to claim him off waivers due to their needs of guard players now.
Jeremy has had gone through lots of ups and downs in this month, and the question now is his duration in the NBA. Will he be able to reach a long-term deal with a team, and stay playing in the NBA ?
